Marion was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2002 after receiving her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2000 and an Honours Bachelor degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University in 1997.
After working with a local firm that specializes in litigation and labour/employment law, Marion moved her practice closer to home in Stittsville in 2008 to provide a better balance between family and work.
Since moving her practice to Stittsville, Marion has been successful in growing her practice in all areas of general practice including real estate, wills & estates, family law, small business and employment law.
While Marion is comfortable in a courtroom, she believes in the use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms (including collaborative family law and mediation), particularly in family law, as a means for parties to be active participants in finding a resolution that best fits their particular situation or that of their family.
On a more personal note, Marion is a military family member and offers a 10% discount to military families for drafting wills and powers of attorneys. She also offers discounts to real estate clients who are buying and selling a home and to first time home buyers.
