Winston has carried on a general practice of law since 1973. One time chair of the real estate committee of the County of Carleton Law Association and sometime instructor in real estate at the Bar Admission Course, Winston has dealt frequently with property and debt structuring problems. He has the experience to quickly identify the basic issues and craft economic solutions.
On a personal note, Winston grew up on a farm near Lombardy in Leeds County and now lives on a hobby farm at Prospect in Lanark County. Winston’s three children are starting out on their own, but Winston insists he is aging gracefully.
While Winston practices in all the firm’s core areas, he seeks retainers that test his knowledge of property law, such as division or equalization issues in separations, estates or guardianship plans, and title repairs.
